From the 5th until the 7th of February the LAG was represented with an own stand at the Fruit Logistica, carried out a tour of the fair and held its annual evening reception at the Funkturm Restaurant Berlin.
As in previous years, the LAG organised a tour of the fair - the focus here was on exhibitors from Central and South America and invited guests to an evening reception in the Radio Tower Restaurant at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds in order to network exhibitors from Central and South America with German logistics players. The occasion was Fruit Logistica, the leading trade fair for fruit trade, which attracts international shippers and producers to Berlin every year. A country focus has traditionally been on producers and exporters from Latin America's growing regions.
During the two-hour tour of the fair, Steffen Bilger (MdB), Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure and Federal Government Coordinator for Freight Transport and Logistics, held talks at South and Central American stands and welcomed visitors to stand of the Logistics Alliance Germany.
Afterwards, the 8th LAG evening reception offered a suitable framework for continuing cooperation talks and networking. Parliamentary State Secretary Bilger and the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Mark Oedekoven, held the welcoming address on behalf of the Logistics Alliance Germany e.V. and opened the evening reception in the presence of many members of the association.
Next year the LAG evening reception will take place on 03.02.20, so please save the date!
